UHK’s Surgery Department provides emergency and scheduled care with surgical expertise in general surgery, colorectal surgery and urology and access to the very best in technology and equipment. Formal links allow for seamless access to subspecialty care in hospitals across the South South West Hospital Group

Key Services

Our Consultant General Surgeons and their teams provide 24 hour cover for emergency General Surgery and Urology at UHK. They also perform a range of scheduled General Surgery, Endoscopy, Colorectal Surgery and Urology procedures for patients who are referred by GPs. They work in partnership with multi-professional specialist colleagues locally and across the South South West Hospital Group to provide specialist surgical care based on clinical need.
